ABOUT US
The Indian Women's Association (IWA) is a non-profit organization based in Lafayette/West Lafayette, Indiana. Our mission is to foster unity and provide social, cultural, educational, and charitable activities that bring the Indian community together within the Greater Lafayette area.
We are dedicated to enhancing mutual understanding and appreciation between the Indo-American community and mainstream American society. As a non-political, non-religious, and non-sectarian organization, IWA collaborates with other humanitarian groups to offer impactful community service.
Membership is open to all women in the area who are passionate about promoting community spirit and Indian cultural values. We strive to connect with like-minded individuals and organizations, collaborate on meaningful initiatives, and celebrate diverse cultures, with a special focus on Indian traditions. Our annual events, including Diwali, Holi, Garba, and seasonal holiday parties, invite the entire community to join in the festivities.
